About the book
The history of coffee began more than 1000 years ago and since then the species has been cultivated and exploited. The expansion of coffee throughout the world was very rapid and currently the culture has great economic and social importance. This book aims to provide a comprehensive view on coffee crop, addressing pertinent issues related to the origin, history, genetics, management, harvesting and post-harvesting of coffee. It will also elucidate the agronomic factors involved in coffee production and quality.
