John Stanton

John L. Stanton has a Ph.D. in Quantitative Methods and Marketing from Syracuse University, USA. He has been in the food industry for about 40 years. He is currently a professor in the Food Marketing Department, Saint Joseph’s University, USA. Dr. Stanton was elected to the European Retail Academy Hall of Fame and the Private Label Manufacturers Hall of Fame. He is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Promotion Optimization Institute. In addition to his career in academia, Dr. Stanton has also worked in the food industry. He has consulted for many nationally known food companies including Campbell Soup Company, Procter & Gamble, Acme, Kroger, Pepsi, Frito Lay, Florida Department of Citrus, Kellogg, and others. Dr. Stanton has more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and 13 books to his credit.
