Ján Višňovský

Assoc. Prof. PhDr. Ján Višňovský, PhD. currently works as Associate Professor specialising in Mass Media Communication and Journalism. His areas of study involve the problems and questions of journalism in the context of development of information and communication technologies. He is a member of editorial board of scientific journals Communication Today (SK) and QTV (CZ), member of Slovak Syndicate of Journalists and International Federation of Journalists. He has published over 60 articles. Out of them, ten are indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. His most significant publications are the scientific monographs Život a dielo Dominika Tatarku – Life and Work of Dominik Tatarka (2009) and Aktuálne otázky teórie a praxe žurnalistiky v ére internetu – Current Questions of Theory and Practice of Journalism the Internet Era (2015).
