About the book
This book aims to include contemporary topics in hypertension and associated diseases, such as recent emerging role of genomics, recently identified genes, loci in essential hypertension, genetic studies, whole genome wide studies, SNPs, etc. and their functional implications in disease etiology and pathology. Also, the book aims to include discussion on the emerging role of non coding RNAs (microRNAs and long non coding RNAs) in essential hypertension and associated vascular diseases, molecular mechanisms and epigenetics of cardiovascular remodeling in hypertension, the role of nutrition on epigenomics, DNA methylation, acetylation and histone modifications, the role of nutrition and other factors on gut microbiome, and its effect on hypertension pathophysiology. Since cardiorenal syndrome is an important implication in hypertension, encouraged topics also include molecular and epigenetic mechanisms involving non coding RNAs in pathogenesis of cardiorenal syndrome.
