Kula Kamal Senapati
Dr. Kula Kamal Senapati is a scientific officer at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati). He received his MSc in Organic Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Gauhati University, India. He has been involved in characterizing materials and nanomaterials through highly sophisticated analytical instruments since 2005. He served as a scientist in Tocklai Tea Research Institute, India, and is involved in research of secondary metabolites in tea and their value addition. He has published his research works in many reputed international and national scientific journals (citations: 801; h-index: 13; and 1–10 index: 17) and one of his works was highlighted in Nature India (doi:10.1038/nindia.2017.49). Dr. Senapati has obtained awards and recognitions such as the National Green Innovation Award in 2011 (www.industrialgreenchem.com); top cited paper award for research papers published in the Journal of Molecular Catalysis A: Chemical in 2011-2012; a fellowship from National Science Council, Taiwan; and a post-doctoral offer from the Universidade da Madeira, Portugal. He is an editorial board member and reviewer for various international journals of repute.
