Muhammad Kamran Khan
After completing the doctorate from the University of Avignon-France, Dr. Muhammad Kamran Khan joined the Department of Food Science, Government College University Faisalabad, Pakistan on 19-09-2012 to the post of Assistant Professor and then promoted to Associate Professor on 23-02-2021. During this duration, various research and review articles have been published in peer-reviewed journals. The primary focus of his research is the enhancement of technical skills and knowledge in food chemistry with special concern on Polyphenols (bioactive compounds). Another noteworthy achievement is the approval of a project entitled “Impact of fruit processing modes on extracted juice quality: conventional vs. Innovative technologies” with a worth of about $ 60,000 funded by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Then visit Curtin University, Perth, Australia on an “Endeavour Research Fellowship” which was a great success and helped to develop collaborative publications between the two institutions. The researcher has represented the university on different platforms at the national as well as international levels. The professional experience of the researcher will greatly help to edit this special issue.
