Jian Wang
Jian Wang is a professor at the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2010 and worked at the Beijing Institute of Technology (2010-2018). With support from the China Scholarship Council and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (Humboldt Research Fellowships for Experienced Researchers), respectively, he studied at the Polymer Engineering Center at the University of Wisconsin–Madison (2009-2010) and worked at the Institute for Plastics Processing at RWTH Aachen University (2017-2020). He has served as a fellow of the China Plastic Processing Industry Association (CPPIA) (Board of Directors, both of the Injection Molding Products Committee and the Plastics Technology Collaboration Committee) and a fellow of the CAE Molding Solution Alliance of China. Prof. Wang has been working in the area of polymer processing, especially on injection molding and extrusion of polymers and polymer composites. He has published more than 100 papers and authorized more than 60 patents. He has presided over the completion of the Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key Research & Development Plan - sub-topic, Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education of China, a number of university funds and enterprise-funded projects, and participated in the completion of the National Key Technology Research and Development Program of China, and the Basic Product Innovation Plan of the National Technology of China.
