About the book

This book will discuss the biochemical toxicology in regards to heavy metals and nanomaterials, and provide an overview of relation of heavy metals and nanomaterials organized into six thematic sections. As a comprehensive book, it will give a broad view of the subject and integrate a wide variety of approaches. The first topic will cover heavy metals pollution and toxicity besides nanoscience-nanoengineering while other topics that will be included are: Industrial pollution, pollution evaluation, health risk assessment, nanomaterial applications, sources and toxicity of nanomaterials and nanoparticles, and impact of these materials on living cells. Researchers are welcome to submit their work especially from the field of environmental chemistry, food and chemical engineering, as well as applied chemistry, besides materials and metallurgy engineering. Written by leading experts in their respective areas, the book will be recommendable for professionals interested in heavy metals-nanomaterials since it will provide specific and comprehensive examples which will explain the new and breakthrough issues, as well as a thorough overview of the latest research efforts on the trending topic of toxicity of heavy metals and nanomaterials. Finally, the book will hopefully open new possible research paths for further novel developments in this field of research.
