Pinakin Gunvant Davey

Dr. Pinakin Davey is a tenured full professor and Director of Clinical Research at Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, California. He earned an OD from Southern College of Optometry, Memphis, Tennessee, and a Ph.D. from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, England. He completed his post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Louisville, Kentucky. His research is focused on retinal physiology and glaucoma, particularly on improving visual function in disease states. He has authored more than 75 international publications and has given more than 400 conferences and invited presentations. He serves as the vice president of the Ocular Wellness and Nutrition Society. He is also a fellow of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), American Academy of Optometry (AAO), and Ocular Wellness and Nutrition Society (OWNS).
