Yogranjan has been awarded graduate and postgraduate degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University, Jabalpur, India and honoured with Ph.D. in Agricultural Biotechnology from the MG Rural University, Satna, India. Having a brilliant academic record, he has been awarded the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) fellowship in the subject of Life Sciences from the Government of India. He has more than 13 years experience of research and teaching. Currently, he is working as Scientist-Agricultural Biotechnology in Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University, Jabalpur, India. He Has been involved in field screening and agro-morphological evaluation along with molecular characterization of the Sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) germplasms for export oriented oil quality traits especially seed oil content and fatty acid composition under All India Coordinated Research Project (Sesame) at Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University, College of Agriculture, Tikamgarh, India. The work extensively involved the appraisal of the several parameters such as quantification of least Free Fatty Acids and/or anti-nutritional factors viz; oxalic acid and phytic acid in sesame oil along with evaluation of seed yield, its attributes and biotic and abiotic stress resistance.
