Farida Hanna Campbell is an engineer and researcher in neuropsychiatric AI therapeutics from New York University and the University of Guelph. She is a certified member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine and the European Pain Federation EFIC. Campbell is experienced in urban and agricultural environmental safety and survivor rehabilitation, including chronic and traumatic pain modulation therapy and as part of wellbeing services for aging patients. She lives and works in the Netherlands and in Germany.

The Need for XR-Measurement of Decision-Making Decline and Conscious-State Transition Impairment before Nonvoluntary Euthanization of Dementia Patients

Non-voluntary euthanization of dementia patients, the majority of whom are severely conscious-state transition-impaired because of both high levels of anti-somnogenic cytokine levels and circadian disruption, indicates the lack of measurement of decision-making decline and conscious-state transition in palliative care settings. This chapter explains why and how to setup medically-meaningful tests to collect these measurements based on environmental-interactive parameters of nonconscious testing in circadian calibrated XR or virtual reality platforms. It also mentions worthy opportunities in relationship to the Human Connectome Project, including the Alzheimer’s Disease Connectome Project.

Viruses ensure the vital redistribution of nutrients to maintain sustainability in an ecosystem. This includes repair and survival, growth and evolution thanks to the efficient nutrient recycling and infectious rates of viruses throughout a stressed-ecosystem. If evolution in space–time can be defined by multiple planes which change position according to the evolution rate of the habitat, then the locations and volumes of returning chronic infectious viruses will appear in a logical predictable fashion based on the lissajous trajectory based on thermodynamic modeling.
