Maher Rizkalla

Maher Rizkalla received his PhD from Case West- ern Reserve University in electrical engineering in January 1985. He was a Visiting Research Scientist at Argonne National Laboratory, Argonne, Illinois, while he was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Purdue University Calumet from January 1985 until August 1986. He joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at IUPUI in August 1986 where he is now a Professor and the Associate Chair of the ECE Department. His research interests include solid state devices, VLSI design, electromagnetic, and applied superconductivity. He is the recipient of three NSF grants and two others from FIPSE (Department of Education) in addition to being a Co-Pi on a number of industrial grants. He published over 200 papers in journals and conference proceedings. He is senior member of IEEE and a professional engineer registered in the State of Indiana.
