Dr. Mohamad earned a Ph.D. in 2011 from Sweden, focusing on optimizing energy systems and local renewable resources. His academic journey led to roles at well-known institutions globally, including McGill University, Canada, where he explored low-temperature energy generation feasibility (2012-2014), and Qatar University (2014-2016), where he investigated A/C system performance enhancements. From 2016 to 2020, Dr. Mohamad developed his expertise at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, initiating deep retrofitting strategies to reduce energy consumption in the building sector. Currently, he is a dedicated educator at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, shaping future experts in renewable energy with his comprehensive courses. Dr. Mohamad’s research contributes significantly to sustainable building practices in alignment with UAE’s Net-Zero 2050 initiative.
