Hervé Joël Tchognia Nkuissi
Hervé Joël Tchognia Nkuissi is born in 1984 in Kékem (Cameroon). He obtained his secondary high school certificate from the Secondary High School of Kékem in 2003. After that, he moved to the University of Yaoundé I (Cameroon) where he received his BSc and MSc in Physics in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He completed his Ph.D. in Materials Science at the same institution in 2016 after spending 3 years at the Hassan II University of Casablanca in Morocco thanks to the ICTP-ANSOLE fellowship. Since January 2020, he is an Assistant Lecturer and Researcher at the School of Geology and Mining Engineering, University of Ngaoundéré (Cameroon). Tchognia’s main research interest is the design of semiconducting materials for photovoltaic applications. He is also interested in numerical simulations in the same field of research. He is a member of the African Network for Solar Energy (ANSOLE) since 2012. He is author and co-author of about 20 scientific publications including a book and two chapter books from Elsevier and IntechOpen editors.
