Prof. Dr. Cristiana RADULESCU: General Manager of Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Science and Technology-Valahia University of Targoviste (ICSTM-UVT) from August 2016, former Vice-dean of Faculty of Science and Arts between 2012 and 2016, Full Professor at Valahia University of Targoviste from 2010, Evaluator EIM (Environmental Impact Assessment) and Auditor assistant BM (Environment Balance Sheet) - National Agency of Environmental Protection, Romania from 2008, expertize as RENAR Evaluator/Expert in the field of toys safety form May 2018, President of Targoviste Branch – Romanian Society of Chemistry from 2006 and PhD coordinator in the field of Chemistry and Biophysics at University of Bucharest. She received her PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, with a multidisciplinary background including physics, chemistry and biology, from Politehnica University of Bucharest in 2003. Research activity is mainly in complex studies of new nano-structured conducting systems, synthesis of nanoparticles by non-conventional methods especially by photochemical methods and their applications in catalytic processes, too. Over 25 years’ experience in the research area, she gain a strong expertize, in synthesis and analytical characterization of organic compounds (even through physical and chemical modifications), as well as via the use of advanced micro/nanofabrication technologies to create different advanced materials for application in nanomedicine; extensive experience in materials science, analytical techniques (AAS, XRF, ICP-MS, FTIR, Raman, UV-Vis, RMN, chromatography); experience in analytical chemistry, medical chemistry (laboratory/orthopedic implant tests); expertize in photochemical conversion of solar energy. Experience in scientific research projects: Project manager/Leader involved in 28 international and national RDI project, leader of 3 European research Project submitted in 2018 (Horizon 2020, SEE Grant Norway, EraNet Rus Plus), author of 190 papers, such as: 90 ISI peer works – review and 100 non-ISI publications and conference papers, over 30 invited conferences, 21 books and 2 Book chapters, 2 international report, 1 patent, 10 national and international awards and Hirsch index: 15 (Web of Science). She is member of professional associations, including Romanian Chemical Society (and President as well), American Chemical Society, Ad Astra Romanian Researcher Association, EURACHEM Romania, Romanian Physical Society, World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (WASET), European Agricultural and Food Research Landscape Agrifoodresearch and The Scientific Research Society, SIGMA Xi.
