Marcos D. Fernandez
Marcos D. Fernandez received his degree in telecommunications engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain in 1996, and his Ph.D. from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) in 2006. He joined the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha in 2000, where he is now an associate professor in the Department of Electrical, Electronic, Automation and Communications Engineering. Since 2021, he has been Dean of the Escuela Politécnica de Cuenca. He has authored or co-authored several papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings. His research interests are empty substrate-integrated waveguide (ESIW) devices, and their manufacture and applications.
