Poliana Mendes De Souza
Professor Dr. Poliana Mendes de Souza has obtained a degree in Food Ingeneer at Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Parana, a Master in Food Engineer at Universidade Estadual de Campinas and PhD in Food Technology at Polytechnical University of Valencia. She has currently more than 10 years’ experience in managing projects, training courses, academic teaching, and events in food and related sectors. Professor Souza has participated in different national and international research projects related to emerging technologies applied to food and global agricultural. During her career, she has participated in different international events and training workshops supported by different programs/initiatives (Erasmus+, Brazilian Council, Spanish Ministries, etc.) in Brazil and worldwide. Her research activity is widely known as she has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters mainly related to the food technology.
