Dr. Grigoryeva Natalia (Ph.D. in Radiophysics) is presently working as a senior research fellow in Saint-Petersburg Scientific Research Centre for Ecological Safety of Russian Academy of Sciences, Russia. Besides, she is an official scientific consultant of the Department of Nano- and Microelectronics and the Department of Software Engineering and Computer Applications in Saint-Petersburg Electrotechnical University. She is also a reviewer for several scientific journals. She published about 100 conference papers, peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters and monographs. She has delivered talks as an invited speaker at national and international conferences. In the last five years, she is involved in the research of cyanobacteria and the development of fluorescence methods of their investigation. She worked out several in vivo fluorescent techniques for investigation of the influence of weak external actions on a physiological state of cyanobacteria. Besides, she recently elaborated an original method of classification of cyanobacteria using single-cell self-fluorescence spectra based on neural networks application. Her research interests include both environmental and biotechnological aspects of cyanobacterial applications.
