Asghar Ali Kamboh
Dr. Asghar Ali Kamboh is an associate professor in the Department of Veterinary Microbiology, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Sindh Agriculture University, Pakistan. He obtained his Ph.D. in Veterinary Sciences from Nanjing Agricultural University, China, in 2012. He has 17 years of research experience in microbiology, particularly in the area of gut microbiota modulation for improved health, immunity, production, and meat quality in farm animals. Currently, his research interests are antimicrobial resistance, microbial contamination of animal foods, plant antioxidants, pathogens of animal origin, and modulation of immunity and gut microbiota via dietary manipulation in poultry and other farm animals. He has more than 100 publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals and has supervised more than twenty-five MPhil scholars. He has edited and authored numerous books and book chapters and participated in many international and national conferences and workshops. Dr. Kamboh is also an editor, editorial board member, and guest editor for many scholarly journals.
