Halil Ozer
He is currently full Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul, and the committee member of the Ph.D. Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering. He obtained his PhD from Sakarya University in 2000. He completed his postdoc at the Eindhoven University of Technology in Netherlands in the area of Damage mechanics. He worked as head and vice-head of the departments for the universities he worked. He served as the executive board member at the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK, Makiteg). He is the author or co-author of the scientific publications, especially in the field of the adhesive joint and variational methods. He is married and has two children.
