Jiayi Pan
Professor Jiayi Pan received his Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography from the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1996. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Delaware from 1999 to 2003, then worked at the University of Southern Mississippi, Oregon Health and Science University, and Portland State University in 2003-2004, 2004-2005, and 2005-2009, respectively. He joined the Institute of Space and Earth Information Science, the Chinese University of Hong Kong as an associate professor in February 2009. Professor Jiayi Pan has been engaged in research on ocean remote sensing, air-sea interaction, estuarine dynamics, and internal wave dynamics for many years, and was the principal investigator (PI) or Co-PI for a number of research projects. In July 2019, he joined the School of Geography and Environment, Jiangxi Normal University as a distinguished professor.
