Dr. Blandina Bernal-Morales was born in Xalapa, México, 1971. She received a degree in Biological and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Universidad Veracruzana, México. She obtained an MSci in Neuroethology from the same university, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). She is a researcher in the neuropharmacology lab of the Institute of Neuroethology at the Universidad Veracruzana and teaches pre-and postgraduate students. Dr. Bernal-Morales’ preclinical and human research concerns stress, academic performance, and experimental pharmacology related to anxiety and depression in infancy and adulthood. She has directed theses and is the author and co-author of original papers about stress, behavioral neuroscience, scientific divulgation, and education.
