Completed Pediatrics training in Greece, in 1999. Completed thesis, "Nitric oxide and regulation of airways smooth muscle function", at Thessaly University Medical School, Larissa, Greece 2000. Currently works as Lecturer in Pediatrics and Neonatology, at Aretaieio Hospital, Medical School University of Athens, Athens, Greece. She has 20+ publications in peer-reviewed journals; wrote 2 books; 3 chapters in books; and over 30 presentations at national and international meetings. Her research has been awarded and is mainly focused on fetal and neonatal inflammation and diabetes.
