Marcos Sales Guerra Tsuzuki

Marcos de Sales Guerra Tsuzuki teaches CAD/CAM, Electrical Laboratory and Information Processing Laboratory at the Escola Politécnica from São Paulo University. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from Escola Politécnica from São Paulo University in 1985, received a Master of Science in Information Science Engineering in Yokohama National University in 1989, and a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Escola Politécnica from São Paulo University in 1995. Completed Post-Doctoral studies at Yokohama National University twice, in 1997 and 2005. IEEE senior member. Member (representing Brazil indicated by the Automatic Brazilian Society) of IFAC (International Federation of Automatic Control) Technical Committee of Manufacturing Plant Control, TC 5.1, since 2009; and Technical Committee of Biological and Medical Systems, TC 8.2, since 2011. IFAC TC 5.1 Chair for the triennial 2014-2017, and IFAC TC 8.2 Vice-Chair for the period 2014-2020. He receives a CNPq Fellowship since 1997. He was the General Chair of 11th IFAC Workshop on Intelligent Manufacturing Systems (May 22-24, São Paulo, Brazil) and of the 10th IFAC Symposium on Biological Medical Systems (September 3-5, São Paulo, Brazil).
