Jesmine Khan is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, as an associate professor. She obtained her MBBS degree from Mymensingh Medical College, Dhaka University, Bangladesh. She has special interest in nutrition and acquired her PhD degree in Surgical Nutrition from the Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka University, Osaka, Japan. Her research interest also includes the intestinal barrier in health and disease. She has vast experience in teaching at home and abroad. She is active in writings, has published numerous articles in scientific journals, works as an editorial board member and a reviewer of academic journals, and is involved in nutrition-related research and activities.
