About the book

The book is intended to show new results regarding the geochemistry of various granitic rocks, their content and evolution of selected accessory minerals (apatite, zircon, monazite, xenotime, allanite), origin, evolution, and fractionation of granitic and related rock series. The description of various granitic plutons could be concentrated on their origin, tectonic position, and their evolution during fractionation of granitic melt. The results of experimental modeling and isotopic studies of these rock series are of high interest for this book, as well as results of detailed studies of selected minor elements, especially of rare earth elements. The significant part of this book project can also be the description of some ore mineralization connected with these rock series, especially tin-tungsten and uranium mineralization. These contributions could be concentrated on a detailed description of ore mineralization, fluid inclusion studies and detailed investigation of selected ore minerals (cassiterite, wolframite, Nb-Ta oxides, uraninite, coffinite). The results of detailed studies of post-magmatic alterations of these rock types, for example, the origin of greisens, episyenites and related rocks can also be included in this book project.
