Hesam Dehghani
Dr. Hesam Dehghani is an associate professor in the Department of Basic Science, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Mashhad, Iran. He received his D.V.M. degree from Tehran University, and his Ph.D. in developmental biology from University of Guelph, Canada. He has spent two postdoctoral fellowships; on molecular biology of nucleocytoplasmic trafficking in the University of Guelph, and on nuclear organization of transcription in embryonic and stem cells in the Sickkids Research Institute (University of Toronto). He has taught courses at all levels from organ physiology to advanced biology of eukaryotic cells. He has also mentored many students on research projects. For the past 10 years, his research has been focused on the nuclear organization of pluripotency.
