Dr. Sakthivel Lakshmana Prabu is associated with Anna University since 2009, and is a GATE qualified personality and secured 110th rank at all India level. He has good experience in reputed Pharmaceutical Industries and University. He is one of the editors of Computer Applications in Drug Discovery and Development, Publisher: IGI Global, Hershey, USA; Intellectual Property Rights, InTech, Croatia and another book on Pharmaceutical Production Management by Lambert Publications, Germany. Authored sixteen book chapters from his research expertise which are published in InTech, Elsevier, Bentham Science, Springer and IGI Global. For his credit, he has filled 3 international patents, 97 peer reviewed publication and given many presentation in both International and National Conferences. One of his major achievement is evidenced in a book chapter entitled 'Extraction of Drug from the Biological Matrix: A Review”, InTech Publication, Croatia that was downloaded around 23,000 times and another chapter on 'Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics” InTech Publication, Croatia is being downloaded more than 10,000 times worldwide. He serves as reviewer for eight reputed journals and is an editorial board member for five journals. He has organized various national and international conferences, hands on training, workshops and symposium and added to his credit. He is a Principal investigator in government funded project sponsored by DBT, New Delhi.
