Dr. Hamid Khayyam (BSc,MSc) has Ph.D in Mechatronics Engineering (adaptive intelligent system for energy management) from Deakin University, Australia. Between 1993 and 2004 he was an Engineering Manger in various industries. Since 2007, he has been researcher of Deakin University School of Engineering and School of Information Technology. He has joined Melbourne Institute of Business and Technology (MIBT) at Deakin University in 2008 as a lecturer. Dr. Khayyam's research interests are in adaptive intelligent system, modeling, simulation, dynamic optimization, and information technology with application to complex systems. He has a special interest in future ground intelligent systems in energy management, including advanced computing technology, smart grid and plug-in hybrid-electric vehicles.
