Borislav Vladimirov

Prof. Vladimirov is head of the Department of Gastroenterology, Medical University, Sofia, Bulgaria, where he obtained his Ph.D. in the area of endoscopy treatment of bile ducts and pancreatic diseases. His main research interests are gastrointestinal diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, peptic diseases, Helicobacter pylori infection, and tumors of the digestive system. His main activities include digestive endoscopy, education (pre- and post-graduate), and clinical research. Dr. Vladimirov is a coordinator of many national and international projects. He has published more than 200 articles in Bulgarian and international medical journals. Dr. Vladimirov is a member of several Bulgarian and European scientific societies.
