Katina-Vanessa Bermeo-Pazmino
Katina Vanessa Bermeo Pazmiño, Ph.D., is an economist and specialist in university teaching. She has an MS in Economics and a Ph.D. in Management Sciences. Her research is related to the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises, social responsibility, Industry 4.0, and macroeconomic vulnerability. She was awarded the \"Arturo Díaz Alonso\" Research Prize by the Faculty of Accounting and Administration, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and received an honorable mention for her Ph.D. thesis, “Determination of the Systemic Competitiveness of MSMEs in Manufacturing in Ecuador: The Case of Wood Furniture Manufacturing in the Urban Area of Cuenca Canton in the Province of Azuay, Ecuador”, from the same university.
