Nekari de Luis Cabezón
Nekari de Luis Cabezón graduated in medicine from the Vitoria-Gasteiz (UPV-EHU) University of the Basque Country, Spain. She completed her specialization in anesthesiology and resuscitation at the University Hospital of Basurto, Spain in 2013. She completed a university expert training in airway management at the University of Valencia, Spain. She conducted her doctoral thesis on airway point-of-care ultrasound at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, University of the Basque Country. She is trained by CINEVA/SEDAR as an instructor in difficult airway management. She is also trained as a Teach-the-Airway-Teacher (TaT) by the European Airway Management Society (EAMS). Dr. Cabezón is a professor of various airway courses and workshops, such as the Learning, Teaching, and Investigation International Airway Group (FIDIVA), Difficult Airway Management Workshop, and the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia & Pain Therapy (ESRA) Spain, as well as of airway courses for residents and nursing staff at the University Hospital of Basurto.
