Henry H.L. Wu

Dr. Henry H.L. Wu is currently a Ph.D. candidate in medicine and health at the Kolling Institute of Medical Research, University of Sydney, Australia, and a visiting researcher at the University of New South Wales, Australia. Dr. Wu was a National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) academic clinical fellow in nephrology at the University of Manchester, England from 2019 to 2021, where his research focused on older people and complex health needs. He has research experience in chronic kidney disease (CKD) epidemiology, geriatric nephrology, glomerulonephritis, and COVID-19 clinical nephrology. Dr. Wu has published widely in key journals and presented at major international nephrology conferences. He has been invited as a peer reviewer for various journals. He is an associate editor of Nutrition and Health, a review editor of the nephrology section of Frontiers in Medicine, and an editorial board member of BMC Nephrology and PloS One. Dr. Wu was a co-organizer of the Royal Society of Medicine Geriatric Nephrology Symposium in late 2021 and was selected as the mentee for the International Society of Nephrology Mentorship Program for the Geriatric-Palliative Nephrology Section. He is also currently an early/mid-career researcher and a member of the International Society of Nephrology CardioRenal Toolkit Workgroup. Dr. Wu was elected for full membership to Sigma Xi, The Scientific Honor Research Society, in May 2023.
