Amit Kumar Goyal

Dr. Amit Goyal received his MTech and Ph.D. in Advanced Semiconductor Electronics from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), India in 2014 and 2019, respectively. He is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Innovative Technologies Laboratory (ITL), King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. He is the recipient of the prestigious Quick Hire (QHF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), India. Dr. Goyal has authored and co-authored more than seventy peer-reviewed scientific articles. In 2023, he was listed among the World's Top 2% of Scientists by Stanford University, USA. He is an active journal reviewer. His research interests include photonic crystal-based devices, passive radiative coolers, Nanophotonic sensors, photonic spin hall effect, and surface wave-based sensors.
