Tiago Miguel Ferreira

Dr Tiago Miguel Ferreira is an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering at the University of the West of England, United Kingdom, and an invited Assistant Professor at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Currently, he is an Editor-in-Chief of Conservar Património, a SCOPUS and Web-of-Science indexed journal dedicated to heritage studies, and a Co-Editor-in-Chief of GeoHazards, a multidisciplinary open-access journal devoted to theoretical and applied research across the whole spectrum of geomorphological hazards, namely endogenous and exogenous hazards, and those related to climate change and human activity. Ten years of academic experience in conservation of historical structures and vulnerability assessment under flood, earthquake, and fire. His research has focused on the vulnerability assessment of urban areas, advanced structural analysis, non-destructive evaluation and diagnosis, and documentation of cultural heritage and historical sites.
