Milan Smetana
Prof. Milan Smetana, MSc, Ph.D., graduated in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Žilina, Slovakia. He holds a Ph.D. in Theory of Electrical Engineering. He is currently employed at the Department of Electromagnetic and Biomedical Engineering, University of Žilina, Slovakia. His education focuses on electrical circuits, electromagnetic fields, and sensors in biomedicine. In his research, Dr. Smetana deals with the non-destructive evaluation of conductive biomaterials by electromagnetic methods, particularly the eddy current testing. His area of scientific interest is the application of new approaches to the study of biocompatible prosthetic replacements by both direct and inverse methods.
