Dr. James Wang is professor of neurosurgery department, Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital, School of Clinical Medicine, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China & neurosurgery department, University of Washington, Seattle, USA. He graduated from Beijing Capital Medical College in 1986 with a master's degree in medicine. In the same year, he studied in the United States, passed USA ECFMG in 1990, and became an American neurosurgeon in 1993. He was a resident of Neurosurgery at Ohio State University School of Medicine from 1993 to 1999, and completed a 7-year residency degree in 1999. From 2002 to 2009, he served as the chief physician of neurosurgery. From 2010 to 2014, he served as associate professor of neurosurgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine, and chief physician of neurosurgery at the Institute of Neurology of the Swedish Hospital. From 2015, he was the Chief Physician of Neurosurgery at the University of Washington Affiliated Hospital; professor of Tsinghua University, Associate Dean of the Institute of Clinical Neurosciences of Tsinghua University.
