Waseem Khalid

Dr. Waseem Khalid is an assistant professor at the University Institute of Food Science and Technology, University of Lahore, Pakistan. Dr. Khalid obtained a BS, MS, and Ph.D. in Food Technology from Government College University, Faisalabad, Pakistan, where he later served as a visiting lecturer. His areas of teaching and research interest include raw meat, meat products, irradiation, functional foods, plant-based foods, and halal foods. He has authored more than eighty articles and book chapters. Currently, Dr. Khalid is trying to develop sustainable food in Pakistan.
