Luigi Mosca (MD, PhD) graduated in Medicine at the University La Sapienza of Rome. He held a residency then research post at the Eye Clinic of the University of L’Aquila before gaining his degree in Ophthalmology and becoming a practicing Ophthalmologist – first at the Department of Ophthalmology of the A. Gemelli Polyclinic of the Catholic University of “Sacro Cuore” of Rome, then as Chief of the Cornea and Refractive Surgery Service. He is Professor of the School of Ophthalmology of Catholic University of Sacro Cuore. He is author of several scientific works in the field of Ophthalmology, refractive surgery, and corneal transplantation.
