Davy Vercruysse
Dr. Davy Vercruysse studied Business Administration (2003) with specialties in marketing & strategic management. Davy obtained his PhD in business economics with the topic “Sex and gender perspectives in entrepreneurship education research”. Davy lectures several courses at the Ghent University: entrepreneurial practices, research methodologies & didactics. He is also a certified didactical trainer concerning internship of didactical students in secondary schools. Since 2009 Davy organized several International Seminars concerning Entrepreneurship. He started as a facilitator at the Cambridge Program “Enterprisers”, only to create an own seminar, together with Steve Stevens: since 2011 Davy organized every year the IntEntSem together where partner universities were hosting the event. Besides the job at the Ghent University, Davy is co-founder of the consultancy firm Building Between Bridges, specialized in brainstorming & problem solving issues. Davy Vercruysse has published his research in various book chapters for ICI Global, Intech Open and Springer as well as international journals such as European Business Management.
