Muhammad Imran

Dr. Muhammad Imran completed his Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Akdeniz University, Turkey. His research interests include rural development, energy economics, household fuels, energy efficiency, resource economics, and climate change. During his stay at Akdeniz University, he worked as a Researcher and was also engaged in teaching different courses at the undergraduate level. Dr. Imran did his BSc (Hons.) Agricultural Economics and MSc (Hons.) Environmental and Resource Economics from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. He is a merit scholarship holder during master studies. He has also worked as a research fellow in a Project funded by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Before Joining UVAS Business school as Assistant Professor, Dr. Imran has worked as visiting lecturer at MNS-University of Agriculture, Multan and Assistant Professor at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. He has published 6 research articles in different international Journals and presented his research work in 9 international conferences in different countries. Dr. Muhammad Imran won the Turkish Government scholarship in 2012 for Ph.D. studies. He has secured funding from DAAD to participate in international training. He has also spent 6 months as an exchange student in the University of Debrecen, Hungary with funding from European Union’s Erasmus+ program. In extracurricular, he is president gold medalist in Scouting and also won a medal in the intervarsity revering championship.
