Mirza Abdul Qayyum
Dr. Mirza Abdul Qayyum is an Entomologist by profession, a young researcher and an administrator. He is serving as Director Students Affairs, Deputy Director External Linkages at Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University of Agriculture, Multan, Pakistan since 2016. His research interests encompass biological control of insect pests especially focusing microbial entomopathogens against fruit fly, red palm weevil and lepidopterous insect pests. He had completed his Ph.D. degree from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan which is leading and mother institution of agriculture in Pakistan. After his Ph.D., he served Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan and recently serving the Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University of Agriculture, Multan as Assistant Professor. He has published more than 15 research papers in the national and international journal, contributed two chapters in a famous book “Sustainable Management of Arthropod Pests of Tomato”. He is working for leadership skills, community services, and other capacity-building activities for students of his institution.
