Andrew C. Miller, MD, FACEP. Dr. Miller is the Director of Research in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, USA. He is a graduate of St. Louis University (2000) and Southern Illinois University School of Medicine (2005). He completed residencies in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center (2010) where he served as Chief Resident for Research. He completed fellowships in Pulmonary Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (2013) and Critical Care Medicine at the National Institutes of Health (2014). He is active in the American College of Academic International Medicine, and is co-chief editor of the International Journal of Critical Illness and Injury Science. He has a track record of publishing original research in high-impact journals, and has been the recipient of numerous local, regional and national awards from groups including the American Medical Association (AMA), Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM), American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM), Emergency Medicine Residents Association (EMRA), and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
