Davide Pasquali received the Master’s Degree (cum laude) in Civil Engineering and in 2015 he got his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at University of L’Aquila with a thesis on storm surge forecast. Since 2012 he was employed as Co-Investigator in research contracts entrusted to Environmental and Maritime Hydraulic Laboratory (LIam). His research interests are focused on water waves generation and propagation, coastal hydrodynamic and morphodynamic, physical and numerical modeling of wave-structure interaction, wave energy assessment and extraction, risk analysis and marine sediments transport. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Construction-Architectural and Environmental Engineering (DICEAA) at University of L’Aquila (Italy). He is one of the members of the research group of Environmental and Maritime Hydraulics Laboratory (LIam).
