Adithi Shetty
Dr. Adithi Shetty is an Associate Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. She received her MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) in 2004, and her MS (Master of Surgery Obstetrics and Gynaecology) in 2010 at K S Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA), and joined as a faculty at KSHEMA and then at KMC, Mangalore, where she is teaching since 2012. She has co-authored 5 papers and was in the organizing committee of various Continued Medical Education (CME) and YUVA KSOGA conferences. She has attended and presented papers at various national conferences as well as an international conference. She is an avid reader and likes to keep herself abreast with the latest developments. Dr. Shetty teaches undergraduates and postgraduates. She is also involved in patient care. Her areas of interest are: Foetal Medicine, Contraception, Social Obstetrics, Medical Law and Ethics, and her areas of research are in Contraception, and in Social Obstetrics.
