Salah Er-Raki, who is expert on the determination of crop water requirements by using the modelling (FAO-56, AquaCrop,..), field measurements (sap flow, eddy covariance,…) and remote sensing. He is a full young Professor in LP2M2E-FST-UCA since 2010, and co-leader of the Joint International Laboratory entitled "Remote sensing and water resources in the semi-arid Mediterranean area" ( He was member of several EU projects: SUDMED (, WATERMED (, IRRIMED (, PLEIADES ( Recently he coordinated a project PHC Maghreb « Estimation spatialisée de l'utilisation de l'eau par l'agriculture pluviale et irriguée au Maghreb »2013-2016. Actually, he coordinate a project H2020-MSCA-RISE-2015-2019, REC « Root zone soil moisture Estimates at the daily and agricultural parcel scales for Crop irrigation management and water use impact – a multi-sensor remote sensing approach» 2015-2019, Salah Er-Raki published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers.
