Fatma Ben Salem
Fatma Ben Salem received her BS, Master, Ph.D. and HCR degrees in 2002, 2003, 2010 and 2015 respectively, all in electrical engineering from the National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS), University of Sfax, Tunisia. In 2005 she joined Tunisian University, where she held various teaching and research positions. She is currently an associate professor of electrical engineering at the High Institute of Industrial Management of Sfax (ISGIS), Tunisia. She is a member of Control and Energy Management Laboratory (CEMLab) of the University of Sfax. She is the author of several journals and international conference papers. She has participated in writing book chapters and in the organization of international conferences and workshops. She has also attended international research missions. Her main research interests cover several aspects related to advanced and efficient control strategies (DTC, DTC-SVM, PI-DTC-SVM, and sliding mode DTC-SVM), design, control and optimization of sustainable and renewable energy systems, diagnostics and control strategies dedicated to electric vehicles.
