Funda Kont Çobankara
Biography (Funda Kont Cobankara) Funda Kont Cobankara was born in Gaziantep, Turkey, in 1972. She received her dentist degree (DDS) and the PhD. degree from the Selcuk University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Restorative Dentistry and Endodontology, Turkey, in 1994 and 2000, respectively. In 1995, she became Research Fellow at the Selcuk University, Faculty of Dentistry. She worked as assistant professor at the same university in the Department of Endodontology between 2002-2006. In 2006, she received associate professor degree. At present, she is a full-time professor in the same department. Her main interests are tooth pain, anesthesia applications in endodontics, dental trauma, antibacterial and physical properties of root canal filling materials, root canal irrigants, and restorations of teeth with root canal treatment.
