My research interests involve urban development and planning, sustainable urban transport and urban water resilience to mitigate and address climate change issues along with rapid modernization, urbanization and motorization. I have been awarded Doctorate Degree at Curtin University (Australia) and am currently a senior Lecturer and Master Supervisor at Zhengzhou University as well as a registered PhD supervisor at Curtin University. I am now an Expert Reviewer in the Working Group II and Chapter Scientist in the Working Group III contribution to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Sixth Assessment Report (AR6). IPCC is created in 1988 by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The IPCC developed its scholarship programme after being jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 to award young scientist for their advanced studies in climate-related science. I was a recipient of the prestigious Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Scholarship granted by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation for the years of 2014 and 2015 to sponsor my academic research An Anatomy of Motorization in Urban China with Pathways towards Low-Carbon Transport: Reponses to Climate Change. I have published 5 journal papers, 6 book chapters and presented at 9 international conferences held in Australia, Germany, China and India. I have been the editorial member of the journal of Studies in Media and Communication.
