Dr. Alireza Ziaei, MD is a Physician Scientist at Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. He is a recipient of numerous awards including National Excellent Researcher Award, National Young Investigator Award, and Science Excellence Prize. His main areas of interest focus on the molecular base of ophthalmic disease and pathology pathways, radiological detection and image guided therapy. He has great experience in biomedical research at Eye Research Institute, Massachusetts Eye and Ear with a focus on corneal and ocular surface diseases, as well as National Center for Image Guided Therapy on radiological cancer detection at Harvard Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Surgical Planning Lab.
